VITRANSCHART TAKES DELIVERY OF M/V HD SUN, MARKING A NEW VOYAGE “TOWARDS THE OPEN SEA”

On September 22, 2025, in Kuching (Malaysia), Vietnam Sea Transport and Chartering Joint Stock Company (Vitranschart) officially took delivery of M/V ARKI and renamed her HD SUN. This milestone represents a significant step forward in the Company’s fleet development, reaffirming its continuous efforts to enhance seaborne transport capacity, expand market presence, and strengthen its reputation in the international shipping industry.

With a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of over 30,000, HD SUN surpasses Vitranschart’s existing four vessels, which average around 22,000 DWT. Built in 2011, and at the age of 14, HD SUN is now the youngest vessel in the Company’s fleet. Her acquisition highlights Vitranschart’s strategic commitment to fleet rejuvenation, modernization, and capacity enhancement, ensuring readiness to meet the growing demands of regional and global cargo transportation.
